Some real cheesy rock anthems there Al, love it!! I’ve got a very bizarre and varied taste in music so I would go for among others…
Jamiroquai - White knuckle ride
Machine head - Old
Prodigy - Skylined
John Williams - A duel of fates
Red Hot Chili Peppers - all of Blood Sugar Sex Magik
Megadeth - all of Youthanasia
Oh I can’t wait to get home and start loading up the USB sticks now!!
It’s about 100yds from where we’re meeting so we can walk there from the car park. We’ve arranged for a security company to look after the cars while we’re eating too so we don’t have to worry about that.
I’ll put more details up in the next couple of days.
Woke up this morning feeling like my skull is too small for my brain, seems I’ve picked up a virus - cold/flu/fever etc. Being the ‘bloke’ about it and moaning continuously that I’m dying. I just hope it passes by Thursday or it will be a really uncomfortable drive down. cough cough
Oh man!! I hope you get better soon Al. I’m a firm believer in Lemsip Max and a wicked strength coffee every 4 hours on the dot. You’ll be right as rain in a couple of days. I’ll chase Yves for the menu today, I’ve not done much with the meet this weekend as I’ve been on a particularly messy stag weekend in Bournemouth!!
Thanks Mandy. Hopefully you can come along next year…?
Al, Yves spoke to the restaurant and they are more than happy to do a vegetarian and kids menu (for Grace) but they will give you a choice of what’s fresh on the day. Vegetarian menu is cheaper too
I know, Ilana has all of hers and Grace’s stuff all neatly laid out ready to load in the car, I’ve kind of though about what I should bring with me and have only just put wheels on the car!!
Its with deep regret guys that i have to bow out of this, absolutely gutted but it seems japfest was one trip too many for her. got some issues that now need sorting, and just wouldnt be safe to make it to dover never mind south france!! sorry to let you guys down after all the hard work yous put in.
