I am currently reconstructing the old event archives from way back when. They used to be hosted at uk.3si.org but that’s gone bang now. I still have all the old pages so will upload them to the web site and provide links here.
In the meantime, here’s some old event photo’s from Andre…

Hi Fellow GTOUK Members
I’ve been having a clearout on my website, and have created a permanent home for all the archived GTO UK Club Events from Jan 2002 to Dec 2004, including the really ace trips like Le Mans, TOTBII and Terminal Velocity 1.
Indirectly through my website by going to the Personal section and then the Image Gallery - Passion For Cars - GTO Club UK Events - this is the preferred method in case I change the direct URL at some point in the future. www.andresworld.com
Please bear in mind the rest of my site is just being created and several areas are still under construction, but I wanted to get this lot uploaded and off my other server asap.
I’ll also be adding some Videos of various things to the movies section in due course.
Jeez dude … it was one of the best trips ever! The funniest thing on the planet was when we were heading home at great speed and overtook that coach … I was leading about 6 cars at the time and just as we went past them, I slammed on the breaks and pulled in in front of it. The others thought I was bananas, but then I peeled off and dropped in behind it - out of the corner of my eye I had spotted this chick stripping off and flashing her arse at us. The video is much better than the pic
The strangest thing for me that weeked was that I got thrown into the middle of a personal tragedy on the way down which I haven’t mentioned before until today. I was cruising down the French highway at 175mph, with a number of cars in tow when my mobile rang. I answered on the headset and it was my father (who lived in South Africa who I rarely spoke to). He basically told me he’d just got out of the hospital and had been diagnosed with cancer. Naturally, I dropped the anchors and pulled over. Some of you may have wondered where I disappeared to on the way down to Le Mans, but I simply took some time out to digest the news and come to terms with it. My father died 3 years later in Mar 2006 after a huge fight. So the Le Mans trip has a very strong personal memory for me.
Anyway, I’ve been to Le Mans 4 times, and have loved every single trip!! What a place - what a race!!!
You might notice that she is wearing a little less than people usually wear!!! Just after this shot, I told my co-driver to switch to video footage … he was so excited the video shakes around all over the place!! Funny as hell … I’ll have to dig it out and find it one day!!
