Thank you to everyone who came along to meet at Exeter and drive to Teignmouth sea front. Every single person who said they were coming turned up plus two more. So although it was all organised ad hoc a few day previously there were 7 cars all together.
Having met at the services we had a coffee and chat and then followed the coast road down to Teignmouth were the weather was ideal and we were all able to park together and have a meal outside by the pier right beside the cars. Thank you to the Beachcomber cafe and the Town Council too by the way.

The weather was perfect even though the forecast had changed and there had been rain early in the day. I took the cover off mine at 10am when the rain stopped and got home at about 3pm just in time to put the cover back on before the rain returned. It was literally the first time I had driven my car more than a mile or so having just got it on the road so I was relieved that it ran well.
We hope to organise another in a few weeks, probably from the same starting point and cruising to another venue. Let’s have your ideas and recomendations…
What a great turnout for a first meet. The venue looks awesome too. I hope this becomes a regular meet, I’d definitely make the effort to get along to one of them.
I’ll make a note of that and get in touch if the feedback is strong enough to plan the next meeting. Everyone seemed to enjoy this one so I’m guessing so. We might well make it a little further North depending on who else shows interest and what suggestions are made for the next venue.

I know you put a lot of effort into organising this one even though it was last minute,it was definately very much appreciated by us.
Speaking as a Teignmouth boy it gave me quite a buzz of pride to have all you guys parked up in my town enjoying yourselves (hopefully !!)
We’ll definately be up for the next one and I’m desperately trying to think of a venue that won’t involve us having to walk home afterwards.
Very many thanks for arranging this. It’s long overdue for us lot down here to get together again and it was nice to meet up with new owners and good to see Andy & Wendy and Leon again too.
The most amazing thing was that i had the only red one there on the day, that’s as rare as hens teeth.
Thank you Paul for organizing a smashing meet and for sorting out the privileged v.i.p. parking, the venue it was first class.
Great to meet up with you guys and girls, I will defiantly be up for another meet and hopefully I’ll not have to dash away next time

Yeah Paul, was a good first meet and thoroughly had a good time and meeting everyone…apart from being smoked out occasionally from Mark when pulling away :lol: . Good location and here are some pics.
