FAO Members Going to JAE

Just a reminder up for all those going to JAE, to remember to be vigilant about where you leave your valuables, cash, phones, etc during the weekend, whilst this is a family event, there will be a lot of people milling around and can always be one bad apple.

It’s only common sense, but easy to forget, and you walk out of your tent and leave it open, with things lying around. If you use a wallet/purse, it might be an idea to only bring cards, cash, what you actually need for the weekend with you.

We all know each other, so if you see anyone, particularly after it goes dark, not GTOUK acting suspiciously round our tents, bring it to the attention of a sober member of the Committee

Other than that, have a blummin great time, at what is without doubt, the Club’s best Event.

I’ll be more sober than most as I HATE hangovers! But Steve does bring a good point up. The venue had a little issue last year with one car being searched, emptied and then thrown out of the event for suspected stealing. N certainly know my tent was gone through by someone.
Lock things in your glove boxs if you don’t want to keep them in the tent or on you. JAE take no responsibility for any theft or damage. So keep that in mind too
