Feb South West meet

Trying again for this as I’m determined to get something going There were a few going to come along in Jan but cars broke and illness caught up with most so come on lets get a regular south west meet going again.

Same place as before (Worlds End Pub, just of J26 of the M5) the first Saturday in Feb.

So Saturday 7th February 12pm if you can put your names down we should have an idea of how many and can reserve a table if needed.

Bump on this, six so far, anyone else interested. Not sure if PAR has internet at the moment so will give him a call, Mark / Russ I know its a Saturday so clashes with work but are you guys up for this?

Adam, if you make this can we talk about Japfest, I was generously volunteered to organise it this year so could use some pointers.

It’s where a bloke stands in the middle of a green field and chucks a bit of round ball shaped leather stuff at another chap 22 yards away. The other chap has a bit of wood in his hand and tries to hit the ball thing.
I’m not even going to get into the l.b.w. law, it’s easier explaining it to the French. Think of it as Cricket’s equivalent of the offside rule.

Its off M5 J26, take the turn of the motorway roundabout towards Wellington. Follow the road to the next roundabout (about 1/2 mile and there will be a garage opposit). Take the 4th turn of the roundabout towards Taunton and follow the road for about a mile. The pub is on the right hand side and the car park is round the back.

Sorry, i really don’t think I can afford this, just paid my years car tax - booked a cam belt service ( :shock: - not cheap is it ), got me mum’s brithday presnt to buy and have a vets bill to pay. I also got a long day in London tomorrow on my promotion panel. Maybe next month and I do appreciate your efforts with this Dave.
