Finally got my GTO

After about a month trying to find the right car at an affordable price I have finally managed to purchase my first GTO.
The car seems to be pretty standard but has had the cambelt recently changed, new suspension, and a custom exhaust fitted.
Although I love my cars I know absolutely nothing about them so just writing to see where is best to start trying to get a bit more power out of this car at a affordable price

Cheers
Chris

Congratulations , lets see some pictures then :sunglasses:

Power wise have some fun with it first before jumping in increasing performance , will make it seem more worthwhile when you do

Craig

Welcome to the club and as @CDMH says, get some pictures up.

Terry :sunglasses:

twin turbo, auto? Mk1 Mk2? any more details, stop teasing us.

Agree with Gavin lol

Welcome to the club

Welcome to the club…is it red ? Must be red come on show us :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

It’s a red twin turbo mr with leather trim and manual gear box, mk2. I think it’s a 95.
I will try posting up a few pictures later on today but already love the car. I’m having to try change the bulbs at the moment cause it seems pointless turning them on at the moment they are so dull, but other than that there doesn’t seem to be any immediate problems with the car

Congratulations, always great to see you new owners. I would suggest getting some pictures as the baying wolves won’t stop until you do.

Welcome to the club.

The back of the car was looking a it pink but ive given it a good go and polished it and it has come up pretty well, but yes I’m guessing it will be a ongoing struggle to try and keep it red lol
