gave me (25, 4yrs NCB) a stonking qoute on a limited milage policy of £750 mods included.

Ben

I CAN HIGHLY RECOMEND THESE.I HAD MY 911 INSURED WITH THEM FOR 2 YEARS REALLY CHEAPLY.GOOD SERVICE TOO.

STEVE

Footman James gave me the best quote by far. MOst companies were between £1900 and £2500 including all the top specialist companies.

25yrs, 2yrs NC, No convictions or points (Yet)

£1473.15 TPFT £500 excess.

Also Includes breakdown recovery.

All they need are CAT 1 security alarm. No need for tracker unlike Tesco. Tesco quoted £1173.50 but must have tracker for this (about £700 plus yearly subscription £100).

It works out about £400-£500 cheaper so looks like FJ for me. So far their service has also been excellent.

I forgot to mention the policy i got was also unlimited mileage policy and I can drive any other car (over 25) as long as its insured.

The service from them has been excellent so far. I was able to fax my application and the cover note arrived next day.

Also the premium I mentioned was for a 92 GTO twin turbo so i reckon thats pretty good for me.

I’m with them there are good…
PECS…

well, im 21, oncb and 1 crash lol, wanted just over 4 grand :frowning:

25, 4yrs NCB, no claims, no points, garaged, tracker, Cat1, anti-hijack.

£1370 fully comp for 8000 miles, £970 for £6000 miles.

That was before I got chance to declare any mods!

Steve

ah its the limited milage thatr gets the discount with this comp…
£1100 for 6000 miles.

Having a second car helps loads…

Ben

I have to confess to never understanding how insurance companies calculate your premium.

3 years NCB, 38 years old, second car ( 954cc peugeot 206), CAT 1 Alarm fitted, parked on private driveway, sole driver, no accidents…

Footman James wanted £1480
Aon only wanted £800

:?

Ben, what’s your policy mileage limited to?

Steve

policy is limited to 4500, but seing as its a wekend car thats more than enough.
havn’t even done 1k yet… policy started in october…

Ben

cough gearbox cough rebuild

Thanks Ben, I’m doing some ringing around after getting my renewal through

Steve

Gearbox rebuild falls in to standard gto maintenace time. Each GTO built has about 3-4 months a year where it refuses to function, this was built in by mitsubishi to help keep the milage low.
