Anyone had this problem that their fuel gauge isn’t working?
It was okay when the orange light would come on but now the orange light is always on!!!
Is it just easier to buy a second hand fuel tank? I’ve seen on the web that it’s quite a common fault and fiddly to get the tank out and hat off and find out what the problem is.

Depending on how old your car is… Or the secondhand donor car the tanks can be a pain. I’ve just broken a 97car and every bolt on the hat snapped. Every fuel line was corroded too. They cut out easily of a donor car but taking your out to replace would be an issue.
Removing the hat on yours and checking that for faults will give you a flood idea of the condition of yours. It can be the float is broken.
