I’ve heard today Steve Butler was last night admitted to hospital, with a suspected heart attack or blood clot, he has undergone many tests and is now home thank god.
Steve has been instructed to take things easy, so may be quiet on the forum for a few weeks whilst he recovers.
I’m sure all you guys are with me in wishing Steve the best, and hoping he gets better soon.
Take a break Steve, you work hard for your business and the forum, so chill, relax and get yourself better.
Thinking about you Steve, I know first hand how frightening that process is, and even when you get back home, it still plays on your mind every time you have a twinge.
Try and relax, not stress, put things into boxes of ‘important’, ‘can be dealt with later’, ‘it’s not my problem’, you are very much like my Steve, dog with a bone, now, now, now, take a step back, think more about your health, because you are no good to your family 6’ under, harsh, but true.
I know, says she, the other half of the Parkin stressball, easier said than done when it’s your nature, but do try.
Thanks guys.
I’m doing ok. Still working although slowed down somewhat. Took me by surprise really. N have to admit the hospital was amazing.
I have a diagnosis that requires anti inflammatories and painkillers and will be monitored for a while
Please don’t post anything about this on FB though as I don’t want it to effect work.
Just to add to this so you members are aware of the situation behind the scenes the Committee have told Steve to step back from what he does as a volunteer on the forum to take a little pressure off him for a while.
This means he won’t be doing the next stage of Car of The Month, the Poll/Voting, so on this occasion we have asked @DeanMarkTaylor to step back into the role and do the Poll just to see us through till next month when Steve is back on his feet.
Steve’s health comes first. No problem calling it a draw for everyone that entered. This also has absolutely nothing to do with the fact @PenaltyCharge entered his car whatsoever. Honestly. lol.
