I am presently with Aplan, Just thought I would have a quick shop around. I am paying £480 and still waiting for the renewal offer. I have a multi-car policy this year and may include the gto as they have offered quite very good price.

Every year my car insurance comes down. Always amazes me.
I use Go Compare every year now. I was with Admiral through the GC website, but had too many mods last year, so they swapped me to Elephant.
Had a written quote from Elephant this year, just over £300. I thought that was great, but went back on Go Compare and it came up with Admiral again (including all my mods this time) for £234!
I rang Elephant to cancel my automatic renewal payment and they were surprised that I had a quote like that from Admiral as that is Elephant’s sister company.
They said I should have rang Elephant straight away and they would have matched the quote…
Now: How does that work? We will try and rip you off, but if you moan, then of course we will give you the proper quote? I dont know :?:

Yeah that’s normally right. It does annoy me how they wait for a better quote before they will match it. Its like they try to get what they can, but they know they can do it cheaper. Saying that, I know a lot of people who just accept the first quote and don’t even bother to shop around.

I have still never beaten the £234 i’ve been paying FJ for the last 4 years, and that includes Europe break down cover.
One thing they have stopped doing is rolling over the mileage you don’t use onto the next year 
Even after last year having a new windsceen put in there was no rise
