Go Karting before Xmas meal 2/12/06

I’m planning to arrange Go Karting before the http://www.gtouk.org.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=24373 this year, last year we didn’t do this but the year before we did and everyone enjoyed it.

It will be held at http://www.f1k.co.uk/lou_home.asp and would consist of a1hr endurance race, 2 drivers per team costing £75 per team (£37.50 each).

It would start at 2pm and finish around 3pm then by the time every one has chatted and got changed etc we should be back at the hotel by 4pm’ish for a drink and race analysis

Please post bellow if interested, the teams can be you and your partner or another club member, its only a bit of fun,

Teams

1, Mark B & Alison
2, Dave N & Tina
3, Homer & Becky
4, Stevie & Tracy
5, Millar & Anna
6, jrp & Diane
7, Nemesis & Alice
8, Silverfox & RoadKill
9, Paul Ford & Ali
10, Webbo & Nikki

**The racing starts at 2pm so we need to be there for 1.30pm so we can have a safety talk and be issued with helmets etc.

You can ever make your own way to Formula one karting or meet me at Donnington Services (M1-J24) before 1pm as I will be leaving at 1pm to arrive at Formula one karting by 1.30pm.

Just had a brief spin through their website…looks a brilliant course with the flyover  Surely more takers for this :?:

Mike

Ive told Mark i`m up for it, just not added me to the list yet

Julian.

Is this all the people that are interested? If so we will be cancelling it
I’m amassed more are not interested in this, the last time we did this before the xmas it was a right laugh

Mark

Mark,

I know Andy (ac) mentioned he is up for it at the Sheffield karting, possibly a team mate for Dan?

Andy :?:

Mike

Me and Ali are up for this!

Although as I am a lot keener than her, if there is an odd number she’d be happy to drop out (and I’d be happy to get a better partner  )

Paul

No, no, no and no Paul, you are not guarenteeing victory by teaming up with Andy (AC).

I guess if Dan and Andy pair up (Dan has got a pony tail, so I guess that’s OK  ), then we have our 9 pairs! Mark, is there still space for more pairs?

Steve

I will be up for this, if I can get an embaressingly late place for the Christmas Meal

Well he can’t be any worse than my Mrs - when she drives round she looks like she’s in an under powered dodgem car

Yep Steve there’s no limit to numbers,
Paul I’ve added you and Ali to the list,
Marty I’ve put you down as Dan’s team mate.

Mark

Mark, I think we should team up and let our misses crash into everyone else and be black flagged!
And at least this way we won’t need a divorce when we shout at them for making us loose.

Mark

I’d considered that Mark, but there would be a significant weight disadvantage against us and after an hour of driving we would probable be about 10 laps behind them

So should I just put your name on a loosers spoon now

Will it be up to the teams themselves who to send out first?

Think i will send the missus out first to clear the field  the main target being Homer

Note to self…bring ‘‘postit’’ notes so i can stick one on Homers helmet so i know who it is when im racing/demolishing
we all saw your tactics in Sheffield…you are now a marked man :!:

Mike

Homer will be easy to spot - he’ll be the one whose helmet is a foot higher than anyone elses

Cheque for this sent.
This could be fun
Marty

hi mark, do you want another team? me and nikki are up for it if there is, stick us down. cheers webbo
