I’m still waiting on my renewal pack. From June.
I have no idea why you guys keep bitching on about not getting a membership pack. :roll:
It states in many places within the membership section what to do, :shock:
If you can not be bothered to Pm ian_t , you will never get one
with you full name and address :oops:
If however you do I sure you will get one sent to you

I’m not bitching in my post - just having a sense of humour (as per the winking emoticon) :lol:
AND - I have contacted ian_t on numerous occasions but still nothing… :roll:

if you are not moaning why would you post it up on the forum, and not just pm Ian
Ian has taken over a task within the club, and is trying to help people comments like you do nothing towards than, other that ■■■■■■■ off the guy trying to sort the problems
ALL membership packs have been sent out, other that people who have joined with in the last few weeks, they may thave been stolen or miss directed, so they all are now sent recorded delivery
As per my comments within other sections, these packs cause more problems that solutions, and should be dropped

I genuinely was having a laugh in my post (ie the dont hold your breath emoticon) but if you take it any other way then please feel free to delete it
I have in past posted all my membership queries etc in the correct place and by pm’s (not my fault if they are not replied to) AND i have never seen my name on the packs despatched thread in membership queries forum since last renewal…
The membership packs (and xmas card etc) are a nice touch and I feel what keeps this club “better” than the non paying subscription forums.
The above is my opinion and at least gives me a reason for paying my subscription every year to browse and post in a forum ( i am aware we get club discount etc but tbh anything I have bought from Rob was website prices and I could have found evil empire by browsing the www without the club)
Anywho…thats my little rant over with :lol:

I really don’t care if I get a membership pack or not the same as most of the people on here but are you sure about that last statment?
I’ve read a lot of posts from people who joined over the last last year (myself included) who have never recieved anything despite correct posting on the forum and numerous PM’s.
I think all the mods and the GTOUK team in general do a great and sometimes thankless job and that the event stand alone makes it worth the membership.
I’m sure Ian has a full PM box at all times as well as a full time job so simply doesn’t have time to respond to all PM’s but surely we can all have a joke about not seeing a membership pack without handbags coming out over it, we all know what we get for our money and how much the forum save’s us so maybe time to lighten up a bit?
I think a few people are taking the forum a little to seriously lately… 8)

Not bitching - just trying to bring some humour to the situation. I pm’ed Ian_T the details for mine - there is a post somewhere with me mentioning it a few days after with a rather terse reply from him!
If that’s the case, it wasn’t intentional… I’m aware that there are people still waiting for packs, and I will get to it as soon as I can. I haven’t deleted any PM’s I’ve had, but haven’t had the time to reply to them all…
People who have not received packs are all over the calender year, with no seeimg reason why they were not sent out / received.
As Simon says, I’m sending them all out recorded delivery, and have had 6 back now marked “gone away”… If I don’t get correct addresses, then what chance do you have of getting packs? You MUST update us if you move… :?
Anyway, I think the packs should stay, as it will be much easier from the new club year.
To repeat, all outstanding packs will be sent, and everyone who has PM’d me will get theirs. We still need some patience, as although I took over sending out packs in October, I only took over the database about 2 weeks ago, so had no access to any details prior to that.
