Yeah was a great wkend. Had fun on sat night with Ben and Andre! Didn’t do great on the strip alternator still not good. Onto the winter jobs list! Lol

No problems was good to see 7 on the stand, was hoping mine would of been out of garage but will have to wait till this week for it to be finished then roll on the Xmas bash.
Always remember if you guys don’t turn up it would be pointless, hopefully next year’s events will have more members attending.
I don’t get out much…but it was good to meet up with a few of you on the GTOUK stand. The last time I was at the 'Pod it was the Paul Walker tribute do. I thought that was a good turn-out, but the Finale was a real treat. So many great cars there, and the GTO/3000GT still handsomely holds its own, doesn’t it.
Well done to Andre for his excellent runs up the strip.
The raceway, and its usual star attraction - not piston powered - have been busy over the years with both improving the track and its facilities, as well as keeping us warm with a jet afterburner. I saw Fireforce when it was conceived many years ago, and then it ran high 6’s and around 225-230 terminal. Yesterday this massively improved machine roared down the strip at 5.76 and 275 terminal (I think that’s what I saw, blimey), and lit the strip up, so very well done Martin Hill and his team.
There’s a lot to remember, including some absolutely perfect show and shiners, but what about the 260Z…and then that rather nice, mean street GTR putting down a cool 8.4/176 terminal.
