Gto non turbo manual moon roof restoration?

Hi everyone i have a few Gtos. 93 twin turbo , 91 n/a auto and the one i need to find out about. Its a 91 non turbo manual with a moon roof. It needs painting and a new engine as it spun a big end bearing. Ive never seen another with this spec. Can anyone tell me if its a rare spec? If so is it worth restoring or not?

hi i believe the moon roof was an optional extra and if you have the time and the money they are all worth saving

Has anyone dabled with replacing the crank shaft with the engine in the car? Take box off etc?

It’s not really a big job taking the engine out in these , gearbox comes out with it , I’d rather take the lot out than try and struggle , a slack day will have the lot out of the car

Okay. Need to get it on the road. Im 23 so twin turbos are steap on insurance. I miss changing gear, my auto really doesn’t performthat well. It only revs to 51/2 thousand? Is this how they are or is there something wrong?
