So stripping the gto begins… and omg what have I done lol. Found load of rust around the headlights and bolts have snapped. If anyone has any headlights they want to sell that are in good condition please let me know.

Credit to you for giving it a go yourself, I’m not technical but I know Steve has learnt so much over the years by turning his hand to things he didn’t think he could do.

Got any pics of the rest of the car?
I would strip out the boot, seats, and carpet, and see what the chassis is like.
Wouldn’t even think about touching the engine just yet.

I no understand the car isn’t to bad. I justvreally wanted to make this car a good project and not just some quick turn around
I would just take the biggest issues first.
Make sure the chassis is good. If it’s not, sort it.
You can then look at running gear, engine, bodywork etc.
Is there any evident of visits from mice/ rats?
