Hi . Had my gto for about 5 months and after running it for 10min drive, then leaving it for half a hour or so it really struggles to start can anyone help?

Nice looking example.
This is quite a common problem with these as they age.
There are some good threads abou this problem recently in the full member section. Well worth a read.
All boils down to sensors/ecu/cooling

You could try changing the water temp sensor in the water filler t\stat housing by the plug leads and intake pipe.

Unfortunately the symptoms you describe are terminal , basically you need to rip the engine down and rebuild , with that in mind I will give you £10 for your rear bumper if you break it
Well it was worth a try wasn’t it 
as @Butler has said this has been covered fairly recently so it’s worth a read , club membership can be bought via the shop .
As you can probably tell now we don’t take things to seriously around here and have a friendly light hearted approach to things

Welcome along mate as they all say it’s a common fault that’s not always fixable it gets brought up a lot…I vented mine to get over it.
