Some of the prices I’ve been seeing are encouraging… planning on ringing around a couple of places over the weekend to see what sort of price I could expect to be paying on one.
One of the additions to the site later this year should include an insurance database as part of it, but I’m not sure that it’s as comprehensive as the one you have created 8).
For the excellent work that’s gone into this, I’ve made it a “sticky” thread. I’ve changed the title a little aswell to assist people looking through the forums.

Motor cycles, vans, pick ups, minibuses.
Cars which have not been manufactured for the UK market e.g. Japanese imports.

LV USED to insure all modified vehicles … they dont anymore.
However they will honor existing agreements and allow us to renew indefinatly. They basicly get £500 a year from me for the car to be parked on the drive 355 days out of 365 a year … money for old rope.
