Hi from Worcestershire

Hi guys and girls

My name is Matt and I’m from Worcester (or near enough)
I’ll keep this bit brief…

24, Engineer, Don’t own a GTO yet.

Quite a varied car history from fully modified mud pluggers to trackday imprezas.

Anything else you need to know feel free to ask.

Matt

Welcome to the club matt

Hi,
Good luck on your search for the GTO, fantastic choice of car.

Hi Matt,

Welcome and a good choice!!!

I live near Evesham and have a TT which is getting close to being put back on the road.

There are a couple of GTO’s round here but they aren’t on the boards.

Welcome You won’t be disappointed!

Thanks for the warm welcome, I’m just outside of Evesham too but most of the time when you say that you’re met with blank faces or something along the lines of “don’t they do crisps there?”

The more I look at and read about GTO’s the more i want one, just in talk with the insurance companies now to see if they’ll want my pants down

Matt

Dredging up an old thread here but it seemed the best place to put it.
After what can only be described as months of searching and looking at some right sheds, I fell upon this little beauty. A true case of “Right place, Right time”

A completely factory '92 Twin turbo (except the wheels), imported in '06 and extremely well maintained both sides of the planet (with every piece of history to back it up) and all of the toys, still working too but its jap so what do you expect

Matt

Hi Matt

Good to see your search paid off , looks a nice example , you planning on changing the wheels ?

Craig

Hi Matt,

Well done, looks a beaut, hope the Insurance is good for you. Don’t know why I’m sat in front of this computer as I only have a few things to complete to get mine sorted!!!

Hope to see you and the car soon.

Hey congrats on getting a Gto looks nice

Agree with Craig though, new wheels needed  lol

Nice car,
Must be later than 1992 or it would be a Mk1 with popup headlights if that’s how it left the factory.

Thanks for the good feedback everyone

Rob - a second look at the paperwork shows its first registration as November '93. Must have got confused with the Del Sol.

The wheels are, well… terrible, but I cant decide whether to have them refurbished or just swap them out for something slightly larger as they do look a little lost in the arches. but a very quick glance at the suspension makes me think it might be a limiting factor, going to need to do some research I think.

Matt

Go careful swapping wheels out on these… Bigger wheels don’t fill the arches. You’ll need to lower it. Also make sure you check with the seller as they don’t always fit without spacers (the breaks are just too big!!)
