Thanks guys yep puts a smile on my and sons face…just got sort out 1 or 2 things i mentioned last chap had it 6 years put new standard springs back on and found wheels a bit dented but i cleaned as best i could,he had new discs and pads put on and put exhaust back to standard so all as new.Even has a winter cover! Front aero not working try to sort later and whine somewhere dave said could be rear wheel bearings ill get my chap to check oil levels in gearbox trans etc,in for cambelt and water pump this week, ill do plugs later and rear suspension boots.then just keep her looking sweet! theres a car show here in september i might like to show her off…
Very clean and tidy , battery terminals on the wrong side though if I was You I’ll get another battery with terminals near Y pipe.
Do your self a favor and install some quality parts not the stuff from motor factors or ebay, had too many customers over the years with expensive bills because the skimt of it being a couple of hundred more and not fitted Genuine and had the 4k bill because of it

If you go into Halfords and use their battery checker it comes up with one with the terminals round the wrong way so people turn the battery round as has been done here. Ask them and they will find you the same battery with the terminals the other way round. They may have sorted this now but they hadn’t last time i bought one.
