Hi welcome to GTOUK

Firstly that car is a GTO , the 3000GT was the UK model and these only came in Twin Turbo spec .

Simple things to look for to spot the difference between GTO and GT , on the MKII spec GT (non pop up lights ) the front bumpers had headlight washers the rear bumper enclosure is large enough to take a uk spec number plate all the import bumpers carried a square number plate . Interior wise GTO’s have seat belt retainers on the tops of both front seats these are missing on the GT variants . Any Automatic will be an imported GTO .

If you are unsure of any of the cars you are looking at just post a picture and we will help where we can

As Craig says, it’s a mk2 GTO (import). The giveaway for me is the front fogs. UK mk2 cars don’t have them as standard.

As it’s an automatic, it’s a non turbo and the advertised spec is around 220-225bhp. In reality, it’s unlikely to be 200bhp after this amount of time unless it’s been meticulously kept.

Welcome,
Have a look at the buyers guide on this forum, that will help you. The car in your link looks ok but no pics of the engine bay that we like to see. I would say you have to give these cars a good inspection before buying. Good luck with the search for your car.

Hi and welcome.
