How much to renew my membership?

Hi,

this membership lark seems overly complicated. Can someone tell me how much it will cost me to sign up for another year as my membership has expired now and what i do to renew it.

Also I take it that you still dont offer the easy paypal route? and prefer prehistoric cheques? ??

I’ve ordered a ■■■■■■ cheque book now to write 1 cheque to this club!

The things i do aye!

paul.

Paul, let me be the first to inform you that this thread will not go down well.

it will be replied to with such sentences as:

“everyone else managed to renew, are you a bit slow?”
“we dont use paypal for a reason”
“if you dont like it, ■■■■ off”

etc etc.

 Well if anyone replies like that then they are obviously an idiot…

I dont think it makes me slow because I havent got a cheque book? but i’ve got one now so I can sign up…all i want is a simple answer.

Paul.

renewal is £20 , you need to sign a membership form and write your membership number and renewal on the top

Hi,

Everything was sent off last week, but i’m still not activated? can someone look into it?

Cheers,

Paul.

Patience mate, these things take a little time.
Yes it feels like it will take an age to get full access back but it is always worth the wait  .

Leave it another week and if you still haven’t got access pm Simon (3000gt) your user name, real name and address and I am sure he will look into it for you.

What the hell? sorry, I dont expect to be spoken like that…who do you think you are???

I explained why i could send a cheque - I didnt have a cheque book, now I ordered one especially to gain access again…

I never expected anyone to ‘Jump around’. I simply asked if I could be activated - I’ve paid so why shouldnt I be??

Dunno what your problem is, but your the one who needs to get a life!!

**To other admin - mods **If you want me to write a paypal interface that allows people to pay and then updates a database and sends an email out then let me know - I’m doing one for another project soon…

There is no need for the above and I’d expect more of a forum ‘moderator’.

Paul.

^ Glad to see I’ve joined a nice friendly club!.. ^

Honestly though fella’s cant we just calm down a bit and accept that although it’s easier for you guys to use cheques the rest of the known world is using paypal.
For a new member like myself you also have to wait maybe as long as the 28 days to access the locked forum sections again when instant payment would illiminate this and 28 days is a ■■■■■■ long time when you’ve got a new car and a thirst for knollege!

I really do understand why you do it the way you do to save confussion etc but try to see it from a consumer point of view also and for gods sake chill out a bit, we’re all mate’s after all (hopefully).

Hi,

I’m looking into the paypal immediate membership - think it would save a lot of hastle. I think in general this is a friendly club, maybe 3000gt was having a bad day lol…but whatever, it’s forgotten now, I’m not one to bear grudges!

welcome to the club anyway mate lol

Paul.

I must admit in my short time here its seemed a little tense at times for some reason but maybe I’m just used to the relaxed nature of the Civic site…

Anyway I guess I’ll just have to bum around in here posting til I get signed up properly and can access the good stuff, been far to busy destroying the ozone layer in the new car to post on here anyway!.. 8)
