How quickly would i get full member access

Hello,
This might seem a dumb question but I’ve read through dozens of posts and still not found the answer i’m looking for.
I understand that if I send a postal order with application it will take a number of weeks for me to recieve my membership/pack/card etc…

My question is:
How quickly would I be able to access the Full Member areas of the site?

I was unfortunately involved in a car accident a few days ago (not my fault) which wrote off my jeep (Not seriously injured but thanks for your concern.) I expect that an offer for my jeep will be forthcoming in the next week or two.
Since I have a GTO in the garage which has been off the road for 3 1/2 years, I am thinking this would be a good time to put it back on the road (with the insurance payout).
I have been looking around on ebay/google etc for brake/suspension kits and turbo repairs but am not having much luck finding good deals.
Since I have been a member of this club before (About 3 years ago), I already know that forum resources are well worth the value of membership.
It’s just that if I have to wait 5-6 weeks to access the full member forums, getting advice and then buying from recommended resources from here will be too late. The rental I have will probably only be with me for about 4 to 5 weeks. Once I send it back I am car-less and the dream of my beloved GTO back on the road will be dashed. I cannot afford to be without a car. This basically means I would need forum access in about 2 weeks. Thats about the time i’ll be getting the cash (best guess).

I’m hoping you’ll be able to make me a special case. (cheeky I know but if you don’t ask…)

If we have received your money then you should have Full Member status.

No, you haven’t recieved my money.
I haven’t sent it yet, although from what you suggest, I will send it off today.
It was literally a question to find out if forum access was granted with immediate effect upon receipt of payment.

My mistake, not reading it properly :oops: :lol:

As soon as we receive your money you can have full access to the forum, the membership packs can take up to 6 weeks to complete for you.

I sent off a postal order Friday - late afternoon - for £20.
Next time the PO Box mail is collected, hopefully my aplicatication will be in there.

I look forward to browsing for all the bits that’ll get my :smiley: GTO :smiley: back on the road. :smiley:

Not had an offer yet for my other car so it looks like i’ll have time to start boning up on prices and getting quotes.
