I’ve recnetly insured my non-turbo:( **fully comp **for **£690 **a company called A-Plan they have a thatcham branch (tel .01635 879911) which specially deals with imports, and you don’t need a tracker like some of the quotes you get from tesco etc.

You do need a CAT1 or it’s starts getting expensive but it’s better than a tracker with the 100ish quid-a-year monitoring fees to consider.

BTW there is a cheap place that does CAT1 alarm/imobilizers in Birminghan from £180 or £249 on-site!!! much cheapness, I seen the advert in autotrader or exchange and mart.

If in doubt…FLAT OUT!

It’s just a thought but you may not be aware that Endsleigh belongs to the NUS, the National Union of Students. They give discount to Union members.
If you attend college for even a half evening lesson a week you are entitled to Union membership and there may be a few of you attending evening courses.

:slight_smile: Just to let you know.i’ve just renewed my insurance admral was qoating £1400 and they could do no better.phoned elephant they gave me £650 fully comp protected no claims,breakdown cover etc £350 excess.saving me £750.the best thing is the underwriters for the insurance are admral.

just got my insurance down from £843 with AON now Footman james ,to £540 with Adrian Flux , only diference was £250 Excess, now £350
