Yup I got told that by them last year. RH Specialist is the one I think @DavePerky did a lot of work with. They seem to be the best at the moment for GTO’s
I dont understand…should i message DavePerkins for a quote?
You could but i dont think you would get very far.
No Dave doesnt work for them. He is a member of the committee here that spent a lot of his own time speaking with the company and helping members get reasonable deals. I believe it was a woman called Jackie who was dealing with it but I seem to remember a post that she wasn’t dealing with it anymore. Just call them and mention the club. They should be able to help.
No details needed, will pm my bank acc details price is £1999.99 3rd party
@maxxbradley has kindly tagged you in other post.
Dave
Can someone please just tell me who i should look to for insurance…the posts above do not make any sence
Thread here on RH insurance…do you want me to call them too
Yes if you think it might make any difference and if your ego can comprehenfd the info. From what i can gather its ■■■■■■■■ raking around in these cars and wrecking them thats putting the insurance up.
I put a hell of alot of work into getting our PAID members insurance… please take your comments to a free forum. You have been here long enough now to see how we work,
thanks ego Dave
Hi Alan,
Think you will see if you read the thread Dave posted up he was helping. (follow the link)
The other thing that helps with some insurance companies is to be a full member here as some I believe offer a discount. You supply them with a GTOUK membership number.
Dave put me onto RH and got a very competitive quotation, even though I have a completely unstock like GTO.
TBH the insurance for these cars has come down dramatically in the last 13 years.
Don’t know where you were coming from with your reply, we are here to help each other not slate.
Steve
Perhaps we should charge £20 for full membership and £40 for manners…oh i forgot manners cost nothing
Hit a nerve there alright…lol
Thanks for thr help but i should have looked into this myself before i asked this. This is the onlly forum i have been on where peeps yap about the subbs fee???
Cough up then ya tight fecker
I read this 3 or 4 times earlier. Wasn’t sure I was reading it right.
Had to pop out and thought when I get back I need to read it again before commenting.
Tbh I still don’t know what to say.
lol…its getting better
That’s because the rest are ■■■■…bye👍
At the end of the day mate you object to a £20 fee for full membership obviously which pays for the forum upkeep and subsidised meets but yet still get linked to answers to your questions even though you have an attitude to members trying to help you, hardly gonna do you any favours is it
thanks alot …
Nailed it Scott that’s all I’m saying…for once
I don’t know whether you @alank950 are a genuine person with genuine needs - I hope so , but you ‘may’ have unintentionally ruffled a few feathers with your eloquent tone when this thread first started, or maybe you are just trying to do what people have tried before, create a mayhem…thinking I doubt that.
Giving you the benefit of the doubt, that you have genuine needs and not a bot, I think your original insurance question has been answered by Dave now, and other members have demonstrated the benefits of being a full member very well, as @ScottMR said we treat and talk nicely to people here, we are a GTOUK family, not a bitch-fest we welcome new members every day and help them.
These cars aren’t young or easy - bit like me , and need a certain amount of TLC - bit like me , so if you are serious about your car and hopefully get your insurance sorted now, this is the place to be, I can assure you Mr Perkins is the man you will get an enormous amount of help from without a shadow of a doubt.
Good luck with the insurance, and hope to hear from you again.
Tracie
Thanks ,hope to put the car on the road although by the way the quotes have been going so far thats not looking likely.
