Really strange about Adrian Flux. I’m insured on a classic policy and mines a 97.

I’m insured with Adrian flux too :-/
They do have their own section on the forum. Think it’s dan that deals with them?

Think its because they cant get prices themselves as its Sunday.
I tried a few more company’s and got quotes of £5000 to £6000 lol
did do go compare and got £500. but had to put car down as mk1 turbo, as 1993 does not come up on the lists as mk2 twin turbo. So would be paying lots more and probably not be insured anyway.
i will just wait untill monday
Can still take my n/a out for a drive. :grinning:

Thanks to footman James I now have insurance!
My original policy for na was £126
I have just added the tt to it for £34. £25 Of that was administration fee. Well happy.

Is that a year?!

Yes @Butler. I think it’s a great price.
That runs to the end of my na policy.
So would work out n/a and tt for a year using no no claims £150 roughly.

Not to sound funny… How old are you?? I’m 31 and mine is 500 a year!

I think that is probably due to your location Steve. Mine is around £150 a year and I am 27. That is with Footman James too.

They are just rinsing you because they’ve seen what it looks like and they know people near you are robbing ********

I only pay £580 fully comp and I’ve got 3 points and can drive any other car fully comp too!

Think I’ll contact them then! :rage::rage:

Who are you with @Butler?

Hi @Butler.
I’m 34 no points and clean license. I have limited 3000 miles per year. Can up it to 5000 for extra £35. Cars are down as parked on road and driveway as I only have space for 1 car on driveway.
They don’t use no claims bonus.
I also own/ insure another car.different insurance company.
And am named on my wife’s car.
Hope this helps mate. Give them a call.

After reading this post, I would like to thank @jensen360 and @maxxbradley for the their recommendation on the car insurance. As I too was paying over £500. With my renewal due I thought I’d give them a ring…and was quoted £202. This would have been cheaper but added a few extras. Thanks again.
