Just had a quote of the internet for fully comp, £350 excess, 10,000 miles per year, 7 year no claims, social, domestic & pleasure and business use, £357 for 12 months, not bad at all.
My renewal notice came through in the post last week from Footman James, £475, but that included full breakdown insurance.

Took mine out yesterday for a 1991 n/a & got my policy today from Footman James: £307 fully comp, £250 excess plus includes legal cover & full breakdown, did have a quote of £287 from Adrian Flux, but £350 excess no breakdown & no legal + plus didn`t like the sound of him. Cheers Julian

No, didn`t bother with it.
Geez, insurance is cheap for you guys up there… We would have to pay alot more here in oz for drivers under 25.
I`m not under 25yrs, in the UK the older you get the cheaper it gets, they class me at 53yrs old as steady and a safe driver, ( big mistake ha ha )
