The thing is can you not reduce your exess by paying a higher premium
Cause at the end of the day if you say, busted a wheel up it would be cheaper to pay it out of your pocket in most cases rather than using your insurance
And afterall thats what it’s for, i went down that route
Malc
how come thats so cheap iv got done over i swaer
23 years old
lisence 6 years
2 years NCB
EX car volvo c70 t5 (quicker then mine now)
1996 GTO inport N/a
6000 miles a year
driveway over night
non commute car
mods = pipes only
OH and i live in a tiny village with cctv everywhere
£1650 + £400 ex
WTF
P.S with sky
don’t know what job is but for this type of car a white collar job (office based) gives much higher discount.
also clean license v important for a car in these groups
Just the way it is…
Oh and some insurers will insure the TT cheaper (can put on cherished car scheme) :?
P.S remember to always state you’re a member of this club even if not asked :!:
Malc, you can lower your excess, but not @ 23 with mods on the car. That will be the lowest excess offered. Maybe when I’m older I’ll look into it but I was surprised it wasn’t more than this now
When your insurance comes up for renewal drop me a PM I’ll be more than happy to do the leg work for us members…
