Ok quote from RH is just going up and up! They are becoming a little like others were before I found them, complacent, stupid rules about garages, alarms etc the southern charm ain’t working so well I’m affraid.
Quoted this year £513 ( 20% off as 2… yeh alright )
The tt at £198 the less powerful… less valuable na auto at £260 plus the usual insurance taxes etc brought this up to the total.
Well smokin won’t be insured again so off I went to @DAN2 at Adrian flux this Morning.
Lower excess off just £100 all round and down to £227 for the year, well done @DAN2 I’m back
So don’t just assume it’s cheap when it drops through your door…
RH don’t ■■■■ perky off…it only ends badly …
20% off my arse
I’ve renewed also with RH slight increase as You say Tracie and I cant’ be bothered looking elsewhere, I think premiums have gone up across the board anyway !
We had some yanks over at work a few weeks ago. They wanted to try IRN BRU and asked me what it tasted like. All I could come up with was “It tastes of SCOTLAND!!!”
Back on topic my normal insurance on the passion wagon went up 10%… And that was after I beat them down on price…
I’ve just changed from RH , the premium was significantly cheaper with the new company , but I had to add breakdown cover which took it closer to their figure .
Bonus for me though is my no claims are back in use even though they last 3 years I had no conformation , went back to whom I insured the scooby and truck with as they still had it on file . Thinking more for the future when I move the car on
Have you got to ring up to get a quote from RH or can it be done online ? And with the mods listed ? I can imagine it being fortunes for me, dreading to get a quote once she’s back up and running
When I had my old one that was modded nobody could touch A plan for quotes , always came out loads cheaper than the competition with everything declared
No spiros , the gt will be the only car using them , wife insures her own car and British gas pay for me to pilot my van
Reece , worked out cheap for me as classic policies weren’t really a big thing , plus with them you don’t accrue Ncb normally and it’s limited use , you can fall down if you use the car for commuting
