I would just like to say thanks to everyone who helped organise this years JAE event, it was FANTASTIC.
Both myself and Sandra had a fantastic weekend and enjoyed every minute. It was great to finally meet up with so many members that I have abused over the years :lol:

Well just got back from a day at jae,car loved the run and we loved it more.Had a great time and felt gutted we couldnt stay over but next year we will do the weekend whatever it takes.Saw some great cars and met some great people.For anyone considering there first meet go for it a real friendly welcoming bunch.Thanks to everyone who spent so long organising the stand entertainment food etc really apprieciate it.

It will be said many times but thanks to all involved in the JAE 2008. To everyone that gave their time no matter how big or small it all went together to create a great few days. To the core of members that went that bit futher to make such a great event - My wife and I say thank you for all your work and effort you all put in. I only hope this can be matched in 2009. I can only urge those who could not make it - as soon as dates are known book the time off - if not you will again miss another great club weekend.
Firstly a thank you to the organisers of the event, we really enjoyed the experience.
We must also thank all of the club members for making us feel very welcome - it is appreciated, but we must give big thanks to Neil & Sam for taking us under their wing and Dave helping us with our tent when we arrived v.late Friday night - thanks guys, its not easy being a newbie!!
We also apoligse for missing the Xmas party, lets just say we had too much sunshine and beer during the day - I blame the sea-air personally. Looks as though you all had a fab night and we will make sure we are around for the next event…
For those of you we did manage to speak to you will know that we have a gearbox issue, but are glad to report that we obviously managed to get home ok, took 5 hours cruising at 60, but still worth the drive each way.

Mick and I had a great weekend, well done to all who were involved in the organising.
