I have a jae related question, sorry of this is in the wrong place…
I don’t have a gto…much to my devistation…but I have just got a galant. I was wondering if, me and the Mrs would be able to gatecrash your stand this year, a galant and a mazda 2 On the gto stand? Happy to become a full member and gather more cash and advice before getting a tt for next year 
Essentially it would be club members and GTO’s first. I will pose your question to the committee and hope to get an answer to you ASAP. I haven’t even bought mine yet so there is loads of time.

I believe this question was put before the members at the recent AGM we had. And unfortunately the answer is no other cars on the stand on display. Now at JAE we usually have heaps of space but it would mean parking your cars at the back behind the marquee we did in fact make 2 of our members do this last year as they couldn’t make it in their gtos.
This isn’t something I can promise would be possible as JAE is in a new location this year and not sure how space plans out. Basically remind us closer to the time
You are more than welcome to join us personally just the cars that may be the issue , as @Butler quite rightly said we had a vote at this years AGM regarding buying tickets and having cars on the stand , it was agreed at such shows that only GTO’s should in essence be on the stand , as we wouldnt want for example someone buying a ticket for Japfest , find their GTO is off the road and bring an MR2 when we could have gotten another GTO on the stand
Historically we have always had space to hide cars but with this being a new location its an unknown , that said i do know other people going in other clubs that may be able to accomodate your car if we cant , as said above remind us closer to the time ,if we can do this and your want to join up you will be more than welcome to pitch your tent with us lot and spend the weekend .
It does seem harsh but as you can imagine if we arent careful we could be in undated with non GTO’s parked everywhere

All very fair comments, not being in a gto, and seeing how good they all looked last year, i/we had no intention of being on stand,more of a “can we camp with you”, tbh until I get either a gto or the galant wrapped it’s not going on show, if it’s just the cars that are the problem, it’s no problem. You all seam like a good bunch of people to spend the weekend with. She will be happy polishing her car to look shiney and getting a few shopping trolly tents out, ill enjoy the drive and hopefully the company. I know it’s early, 5 months is a long time…The galant may blow up in that time knowing my record with “bargains”
