Just wanted to say how much of a good time i had! an awesome event! big thanks to Julian and Diane for the grub can safely say it went down an absolute treat! Thanks to everyone who made the weekend possible and as always big thanks to everyone there always a good crack!!

Ditto from me. It was nice to meet new people - Andy, Julian, Diane, Smudge, … sorry there are names I’ve forgotten but I it was great to chat with so many people; and grow friendships with those I’ve met before, Tracie & Stevie (gorgeous couple!!), Tracy (loved your fancy dress - you look good as a blonde) & Mick, Craig, Malcolm & Bianca (lovely to meet you Bianca), Craig (your passion for building the club is catching - we’re behind you!), Rossi (“nothing to do with me honest!”), Dan, GTO Simon (Staff is well pleased about the thingys for his car), Martin (thanks for helping me lower my steering wheel. Amazing the difference an inch can make ), Simon (for helping with the organising and making sure things go OK), … some I didnt get to speak to, Boo, Tania - hopefully next time. Diane and Julian - thank you thank you thank you. The food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. You guys must be utterly exhausted!

And congratulations to the children for winning GTO UK a trophy :bangreen:

The syncronised hazard lights and engine reving was a great laugh. Now who was it who got me involved in breaching the peace!

O and all the cars were good too!

Well arrived home and still got a headache, also hope every one else arrived home safe.

Diane & Julian your saints handling the catering, thank you.

Entertainment was at it best as usual, and was great to be a part of it again.

JAE was special for me this year as Bianca finally got to get back to the fold, after what she has been through the last 2 years, she had a great time thanks to this club.

I will post up video’s of our light entertainment when i get my head in gear

Regards

Malcolm & Bianca

Marty

Hi guys, was good meeting you all and putting names to faces…really enjoyed your hospitality and am sure I will be attending a few events with you guys…and will make sure am there at next years JAE…

Absoloutely great weekend, would not be the event it is without the usual crowd turning up, Cannot understand the members who dont come & join us it really is your loss cos you missed a stunnning weekend, ( but thats a whole new post  ) Stevie doing a high ballancing act whilst very drunk, Dave Bates & Stevie streaking around the our club stand ( even more drunk ) Meeting some new faces & greeting familiar ones as well, Well done to Joseph ( my stepson ) & Mark leach`s son Stan for winning the relay race for GTOUK & collecting their medals & trophy at the presentation party & then to top it all off was the firework display to end all firework displays  Both myself & Diane are absoloutely knackered & i have to be up for work in the morning at 3am. Thanks to everyone who who set up camp for us & got all the van loaded & unloaded, Boo for turnng up early with the generators, John & Kate for the music & everyone else who did something that i may have missed  Roll on the next event

Julian & Diane.

I only stayed the one night, thankyou Julian, you had made a great barbeque, & breakfast
i also a chance to talk to some members that I have not seen for a year or more.

I had got myself a tiny a two people pop up tent, used it on friday night, bad mistake, & hope to never have to use it again.
I had a kind offer from a couple of members, to stay in there tents,
but by then I had made up my mind to go home.
I wanted to spend a little time with Dawn, before she moves to America.

If anyone is interested, i did try to retain the strengh Endurance title,
I did not do so good,
but it was maybe the best I could do under the circumstances.
Jullian oldest Son, Joseph,a great lad,
he took the video 8) & was the only person , & voice who supported me during the event, thanks for that, it means a lot to me.
However, even though Joseph, you did a great job of trying to get me motovated, I’m ashamed to say to you:oops: I couldn’t get my myself fully into it, {or as Tania said last year, bring out the Eye of the Tiger }
not good when endurance lifting, is mostly about ones mind set.
However it was the best I could do under the circumstances, & I have learned, how to be better from it.
Winners time was just under 1 min, waiting on the result, I thought there was a slight chance that I may have even just have made it.

Joseph. I’m very pleased to hear that you & Mark Leachs son Stan, entered, & won the relay race for GTOUK & collected medals at the JAE presentation. Well done lads 8) Mark Leachs son Stan, also did well in the Bungee pull 8)

Dell

Just an excellent weekend and thank you to all those who put in a lot of hard work beforehand and during, you know who you are :wink:the food, company and atmosphere were all spot on.

Also thanks to the Club for the hospitality provided, much appreciated.

All the worry leading up to JAE about attendance being low was never a concern to me as I knew it would be exactly how it turned out to be, one big happy family with everyone mixing and chatting with everyone else, without it being too large that you didn’t get round to talking to several people.

These events are what you make them, and this one was certainly made a success by all involved

Sorry to those who I didn’t get chance to say goodbye to on Sunday, I was feeling a little under the weather  so a quick exit was on the cards, looking forward to seeing everyone again at the Christmas ‘do’.

Thanks again.

Tracie & Steve

What can I say. Tracie, sorry we missed you Sunday, but you deserved to feel rough the amount you drank. I can sympathize cos I felt like ■■■■ too. You and your old man are bad influences and not to mention Kate and all the sambuca and absolute that got drank.
Anyway, thanks Julian and Diane for feeding us and we will do it again next year. Maybe even remember the duvet and not drink quite as much!
Love you all you mad bunch of nutters.
