They won’t let mine on the track as it’s too loud
Castle Coombe is getting so strict with their Db limits.

You up and running now Mark ?
Or was that from previous years when you wanted to track it
Craig
How do you find out if your car is too loud if you’ve not been before?
Cheers
Ewan

Yes to both. What made you think it wasn’t running?
(It’s been down to the dyno twice too)
Friend at work took his Vantage down to Castle Coombe for a driver tuition day recently and was turned away. And his car only has the Aston upgrade exhaust system, nothing too mental…
Looks like the neighbours to the track are making it more difficult year on year. Pretty soon it will just be closed.
Mark
Was unsure as ive not seen any post updates
although i may have missed them
Good news though
Bet your happy its been a while
Craig
its no more than 100db,if i was unsure i would phone a few garages or the police to get it tested,
they have got stricter, but then again castle comb always will be,
i have a standard exhaust which as you know is pretty quite, and boring, but it passes all the same,
cheers…russ

You’re correct about the neighbours kicking off, but it’s not the locals,
it’s the Grockels (Money) who have moved into the village who make all the fuss.
The circuit’s* only *way to stop court orders banning racing, is to keep the Db levels BELOW the legal limit, therefore, 99 Db is STRICTLY enforced.
This has lost the circuit many luctrative Championship races, i.e. F3,
Super Saloons etc.
The Track will not close, the MSA will never allow that to happen.
