Once again this year GTOUK will be attending JAPS also known as the East Midlands Festival of Transport.

The show includes Classic & Performance Japanese and Fords, plus other Classic Cars & Bikes.

**Date: Sunday 29th June 2014

Address: Thoresby Park Ollerton, Newark, Nottinghamshire NG22 9EP.

Price - £7.50 each on the gate

As well as trade stalls and plenty of other cars to look at, the event hosts all day competitions for varying categories in the arena, with a Car of The Show finale at the end of the Day.

Previous years have been very successful for GTOUK, with several winners including:-

Best Classic Car – 2010
Car of The Show - 2010
Best Japanese Modified – 2013
Japanese Car of The Show – 2013

The Club will have a stand with gazebos, serving complimentary barbeque lunch and refreshments.

For catering reasons, could you please let me know if you will be attending.

We have some fantastic examples of these cars in GTOUK, so come along and show them off.

Open to the public at 10am, but most of us get there around 8.30am/9.00am

If anyone has any special dietary requirements, like Vegetarian etc could you please let us know this week.

As this is our first time at hosting JAPS, we won’t already be aware.

This is next Sunday and food shopping to be done very soon, haven’t received any special dietry requirements so assuming we all eat the usual.

hope the weather holds out for you, looks like a good number of cars going. Typical is on the weekend we are away.

Make sure you get some nice pictures of the event for the new website.
