Well another great turn out for GTOUK at the club’s first Japshow event, we had a total of 9 cars on the club stand. Thanks to all who attended and to Rob M who turned up after only just joining the club, came into the show and was given a stand pass so could bring his GTO onto the stand to make 10 on show.

Good to see some new faces and some old aswell and a good selection of gto’s and a gto owner who turned up and joined the club while there

Yeah sorry you didn’t make it, but like you said didn’t want to risk it and there will be other meets.
Was a good day and the weather wasn’t kind as was really scorching and some managed to get sunburnt.
Well eventually got home from JF2, after going to see my Aunt just down the road in Desborough, on back off recovery wagon…Yep the GTO overheated again and this time wasn’t taking any chances as had car running and when switched off a plume of whitish smoke came out of exhaust, so started her up and a puff of whitish smoke again so switched off and call for recov wagon…got home about hr 50 ago.

Had a fantastic day at Japfest 2 in Donnington, was great to catch up with old and new members. Weather was amazing although too hot but not going to complain. Ricky and Becca said thanks too for making them feel welcome and complimented on what a friendly club we have. Here’s a few of the pics we took

I also went in a Mazda RX7 and got thrown around the Melbourne straight drifting

I had a very enjoyable day out if not a tad warm for me on the tarmac,
