I had planned on unleashing the white car this weekend, however events have conspired against us. Late last night when about to remap the car, Ben noticed the oils pressure was a little lower than we would have expected. Much head scratching, and investigative work is pointing at what looks like a fractured oil pump housing. It is thought the most likely cause was the shock load from the transmission seizure at TOTB slammed the billet oil pump gears against the housing, cracking it.
There was not enough time to pull the motor, fix the pump, refit the engine, remap it and get to the Pod, so I will not be running the white car this weekend. Instead I will be running the red car for the 4th time this year but with my fellow competitors getting their acts together last round, I do feel my luck has run out for stolen points together with any chance of winning the series this season.
