Hey pal you know how your breaking that GTO is the dash ok? if it is I have had an idea (oh god) here we go hahaha.
Take the dash and turn it so you are looking inside it now get aload of fibre glass and make a fibre glass copy of it. Now cut out were the vents go, the vents that go next to the window (you know the ones that always crack) you can now put some nice metal covers in ( I can make those for you) as for the gauges the diameter will be there just needs cutting out same for all the other cut outs and holes that are required. If this could be done the new fibre glass dashes could be sold as brand new dash ready for painting, powder coating, leathering, covering anyway the buyer can come up with, and all you have to do is unbolt the old one and bolt in this new one. I know this sounds like alot but after thinking this over for a while now I think it is possible with time. I was thinking of having a go myself but I dont know how to use fiber glass properly and don’t have a spare dash, I need a crash course in how to make fibre glass smooth and correct. Just a thought let me know what you think.
