Hi Guys and Gals

I was asked at an Essex meet if I could look into organising some other small events, one of the suggestions was to go Karting. :slight_smile:

I have found a place that may make a good event. I know its a bit of a drive for some, but thats why we own gt/gto’s… :skid:

I have been talking to one of the organisers and I may be able to get it a bit cheaper than the listed price. :wink:

I was wondering who might be interested in going and which would be the best day of the week to go.

Ps.girly’s how about a xmas shoppin trip to France ? :bandance:

Other suggestions were a caravan park say Caister or Butlins for a weekend :cheers: , any other ideas let me know.

ah yes you said about this… put me down for it :slight_smile: now lets see all those turbos drivers get away from me when we got equal cars (carts) :slight_smile:

You can put my name down as interested (depends on dates and cash - gotta pay car insurance in October) - if i can afford it, i’ll more than likely be there

i will go, did the liftkart challenge this year with my company was good fun even though i was one of the slowest, just need to know date

Blimey Dawn, thats a bit of a way to go when if I remember rightly there is a karting track not far from Bassingbourn on the old A14 / A10 which is a lot nearer or have you already tried that one??

Or am I too late :oops:

It is a bit far, but its a great day out, and a really good event.

Our cars are built for touring not going just down the road. :wink:

I also thought with it being further up it may get a better response.

At the moment it looks like there not much interest, and if thats the case, I will look at doing an essex one on a smaller scale. :cry:

I was hoping to organise it for Oct before the weather gets to bad…mind you we might get an Aussie Xmas as we certainly aint had a Brittish Summer…BBQ for xmas dinner… :lol:

Sorry guys no more about this as yet the one in Birmingham was too un poplular…so i am looking into a more local essex one for early next year.

I have been a bit busy at present so have not been on the site much.

I need at least 15 people interested to make this a viable event and i would be looking at setting it up for a Saturday probably February or March now…due to adverse weather over the winter and many people not wanting to drive in bad weather.

please let me know if your interested.
