Well firstly… A massive thanks for all those who made it today. Emma and I had a great afternoon with great company. The venue was lovely and as above food was tops. Thanks to those that came for reasonably far away too, And a big welcome to Phillip and Alex who are both new members and attended today, hope it was relaxed and comfortable for you both.
Any feedback on today and suggestions for the next meet would be great.
Same time next month roughly mid month on a Sunday pm ? Same or different venue ? Meet direct at venue or convoy again ? and generally any in put towards making an even bigger success of today.

I enjoyed the whole thing and it was a good first meet for me. Enjoyed the convoy, though I have to say it’s scary keeping up with you local guys on those windy country roads. Had no idea what was coming up!
Btw, my sat nav took me round the smallest roads ever on the way back.
Narrow country roads + dark + no idea where I am=SCARY!!!
So happy when I saw some civilisation hehe LIGHTS I SEE LIGHTS!!!

Hi Elton / Emma as i thought last night was a boozy affair & we did not get to bed untill 4 am this morning. It looks from your photos you guys had a great time. I have only just got the head that used to belong to me back so for the first time today i have checked the site. We are sorry we missed today and look forward to the next Kent meet & i will make sure there is no birthday celebrations to get in the way. Warm regards Bob.
So sorry we didn’t make it. My suggestion for the next one is to meet at Brands Hatch, there’s a country lane opposite the paddock entrance plenty big enough for cars to park along (people park there when an event is on at brands) so ideal meeting place. There are lots of nice pubs around that area or surrounding areas and the roads are fab.
Emma and i put a fair amount of effort sorting out venue/parking etc and it was well worth it, great turnout for the first meet and definitely many more to come.
Convoy was a great idea IMO and a little fun to say the least in places.
Alex (Demon Knight), sorry about the blat at the end just before the pub, i did know the road well and Sonic was itching the whole way for a bit of mad panic :lol: :lol: , I will also escort people out to the main road back next time which is far more boring but MUCH better light in these dark winter evenings
