We will have lunch and the usual natter with a generous amount of banter again no doubt

They kindly block off our own section to park so our cars don’t get touched or damaged and give us a great big table to sit together and chat.

You’re all so great offering your help as you do - Ray also offered to help. Can’t believe sometimes that people have a moan about being asked to join the club. For the great people I’ve met - the membership fee is worth it ten times over. Really.
I’m quite concerned about the steering belt. I went on a nice drive last week-end (to the Smarden Bell actually - saw some great cars - must be the place for it) but by the time I reached home it was really squealing and parking was very difficult because the steering was juddering. So I don’t know if it just needs tightening or whether something else has come lose or something? In which case I’m worried about driving it until I’ve had it seen to. Bit helpless me cos I know bugger all about mechanics :oops: I can’t tell whether its simply loose or whether the steering wheel is going to come flying off and I land up in a ditch!
Lol @ Mandy it will very likely be just the belt loose but i know you took it to a garage today. Hope to see you there. I couldn’t make the agm but i will be going to the kent meet unless its pouring down ofcourse.
It was the steering belt but its shot so that means a new one. The Mitsi garage didn’t have one in stock so we have to wait for one to come in which unfortunately means I can’t come to tomorrow’s meet.
Fantastic drive round beatufiful country roads and then a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon in great company at the Smarden Bell. Thanks to Elton for organising.
Well yep i think that was one of the better meets , nice to see Tracy and mik made the effort Malc to that had a fair drive to get there … steve and angie out again … brill… And yeah i can’t help a bit of larking about
