Ok peeps, this is the last show of the year which I organised last year for my local car club to go to and it was a success the way things turned out as we even got a couple of GTOs onto our stand.
I have had a chat with a couple of members at JAE and this year I would like to organise a stand solely for the GTO club.
I will arrange the tickets and depending on how many go, will depend on how much the tickets are as last year, if I remember right, for every ten tickets, I got one free so I distributed the free ticket so that everyone paid a little bit less.
As it is not an official GTO club gathering so to speak, I will bring a bar b q and we can all chip in on some grub etc.

I am starting a list for the tickets so that I know how many to get so just add your name and how many tickets you want and I will post details of the cut off date and where to send the payment later .
I have been on the website and downloaded the booking form and the cut off date is 16th September.
We can camp next to our stand and cars so hopefully the tents can go behind the marque.
If we want electric, it is an extra £98 which can be distributed amoung all of us but I do have lights that will work off a battery which is enough to light up the marque.
There is only one free ticket this year provided we book more than 10 so if there are no objections, I was going to have that to cover the cost of bringing the truck with all the stand and Bar-b-q etc.

Ok guys ngals, I am going to start putting the wheels into motion for collecting the money for the tickets in the next week or so and will pm where to send it etc but to be honest with you, if this is all the response that I am getting , then it is hardly worth having a club stand

We will have a stand there at the show. We did last year as well. We will be inside the Kentish Pavillion. We ought to organise a mass GTO run on the 1/8th mile :lol:
I have just had an email from modded uk and it seems that I dont have as much time as I thought to get the money in for the tickets so if you want to come to this one at a reduced rate, this is your last chance.
Modded UK is coming up fast but there is still time to book a club stand at this years end of season party.
