Well we just got back and I have noted your comments and all I can say is that the stand would have been nothing if it hadnt been for such a great bunch of people that did turn up and I thank every one of you with a special thanx to Ray for letting us borrow his generator and a big thanx to Angie for going out of her way to bring home the bacon???  No thats not quite right, For getting the bacon and a few other bits and pieces ,Also thanx to all those that stayed behind to help pack away. Its was a shame that there wasnt more GTOs on the stand but the organisers decided to stop people coming in with their cars after 9 am on Saturday and 10 am on Sunday but I think that was due to the minority as usual so there was a couple parked up in the car park unable to get to the stand
I also will try to get a few piccys up or I will send them to someone else to do it.
THANX AGAIN
Well, it was a shame to only see a handful of cars on the GTO stand seeing as chazzy b had seemingly put in such an effort to organise it.
Well done Chazzy and for those that turned up.
We had 3 on our stand inside also and as mentioned there were a couple in the car parks including a Naturally Asmathic with a plate J200 GTO of which he is selling if anyone interested.
The show was good for us and we managed to complete our Modified BMW over the weekend with Window Tints, Alarm, Induction, Lowered, Wheels, Brakes, Nitrous which was tough going but we cracked it.
Shame the strip was closed as that held a lot of peoples interest last year…Damn Local Council…
Sorry didnt get to say hi to many of you as I was running around like a headless chicken all weekend…
There was one car with a black rocker cover with glitter on the GTO stand… who’s car was this as I would like to know what paint was used.
Thanx for the compliment .
I did pop over to see you on Sunday morning but apparently you hadnt turn up yet so I hung around the girly bit for a while and came back but you still wernt there but   I did get your mate to let me have a quick look under the bonnet of that green one ( and you sell all those shiney bits )
It is very nice though, so sorry I missed you, perhaps we will meet again at another function.

That’d be mine then, soon to be surrounded by yellow Samco. It’s not paint Wayne, it’s powdercoat.

Hope to see you soon…Luv Bob & Linda x x x
Now those are really nice piccys next time I will use my descent camera insted of a stupid video camera,
I dunno why that last GTO was on a trailor coz it was running last time I saw it.
We managed to recruit a new member while we were there, I took his cheque and membership form which have now been sent off to Simon.
Anyway a bit of seriousnes, did anybody bring a couple of wooden chairs and went away without any? If so, you can stop your cussin coz we picked em up and they are safe and sound, just let me know and we will see what we can sort out about getting them to you.
Thanx again for your comments and we can all thank the club for providing the funds for the food etc.
