Kevlar Timing belt

For sale is a used Kevlar timing belt from Power Enterprise.

The belt has been on my car for approx 2 years and covered somewhere between 10-15k as we know these belts last for a long time.

Bad points, as you may or may not know they squeal a bit until warm, quite annoying.

Taken off my Car by Sumiyaka due to my 60k service kit needing premature replacement.

Blue side of belt has tiny cracks on which I’ve looked into and appears to be normal wear and tear of the belt, will get picks up tommorrow.

Belt has some rubbing on where blue side has rubbed on something that got down cam covers. Physically there is nothing wrong with the belt as far as I know. The tooth side of the belt is fine.

Pic from when it was installed

PM if interested.

Thanks

Gav

Serious questions here;
Is this a serious for sale post?? If its ok to re-use the belt and there isnt anything wrong with the belt why didnt sumiyaka reuse it when you had the 60k service??

Pete :?

Gavin,

With all due respect, the only reason your belt didn’t go in the bin was so you could see the damage to it from where it had been rubbing.
It may have a use as a noose or something similar but to fit it to a car would be wrong, very wrong.
Unless of course you have adopted some of our sick sense of humour whilst on your visits here and April 1st has come early this year due to the government enforced ‘climate change scam’.

Mark.

i will buy it. it looks cool 8) it will go nicely with my new engine!

Haven’t you had enough problems without putting a second hand cambelt on?!?!

so anyway looks like Josh will be taking my kevlar timing belt, bunch of killjoys!!!

i think josh is becoming a masochist likes the pain more than the enjoyment. opening up a new can of worms befor u sort uther problems out first is a recipe for disaster

I have a old cylinder block and a not very well front head if any one wants to give me good money for them

GIVE ME A PAINFUL TASK

I have a used Mitsi Oil filter for sale, It was only on the car for 6k miles and due to the fact it didn’t seat properly the oil leak has kept it in ‘as new’ condition!!! ‘Open to sensible offers’

Josh,

I have a second hand N/S wheel bearing for sale.

Okay so it now comes in ‘two’ parts but don’t worry about that - you can simply push it back together again…it’ll be fine.

Sensible offer please.

Gav

Ohhh see here come all the real value deals!!!

i would take the oil filter but mines good for 100k miles! 8)

and as for the wheel bearing. mine were really loud and gratey so i took them off and got all them stupid ball bearings out! i filled them up with 12 gauge shell ball bearings, and then sealed it off with no more nails!! worked a treat 8)

i however was thinking of uprating my engine oil to silkolene pro s 10-50 if anyone has got any going cheap between 5000-10000 miles that would be great! 8)

and some tyres would be nice as my slicks dont go too well in rain so anyone with 1mm left on their spares should do the trick!! 8) 8)

OHHHHHHHHHHH now thats a thought!!!

gto tt with thin wheels = very very fast!! will be like the next best mod! like with proper race bikes having 7mm wide tyres!

right i need 3 more space savers!!! i will aim to do land speed record then 8)

in view to the bombardment of private messages I have recievd from Josh, this ‘near new’ belt can be bought for £170.00, its not what I paid for it but its what I want now, as with most things now I think you would be hard pushed to get such a good deal.

Paypal is fine.
