Pop some pictures up too. Where in the UK are you? 
I have found that in the past all my imports have been way out even when converted so I usually remove the cluster take off the plastic and remove and replace the needle while driving till I get it right then replace the plastic cover mine is spot on and so are my miles nearly according to the sat nav,only trouble with that is that cars are set slightly lower so you have no leeway with speed cameras and guns.
a chip which you splice in to the gearbox speed sensor.
Then get the speedo converted from kph to mph.
