for even better results also link an audio jack to the surround sound/amp
when playing your DVD

Steve

hdmi cable just plug straight into telly and lappy and anything on the net ie stream movies ect ect great, no more paying for video hire

A couple of weeks back I bought a broken 32 inch tv and repaired it and have bought a new
3 meter hdmi computer cable for that from e bay for less than £3 inc postage but not tried it yet
Is it as good as a computer monitor or does it make your dest top icons etc look a bit grott ?

also got a new wall fixing mount for it from e bay for £7 all in.

You can find different hdmi cables perform slightly different based on the quality, they have a different transfer rate. Mine performs spot on when hooked up to the Laptop but i did pay over 100 quid for my cable. You can tell the difference between the one i bought and the one Sky give you with the HD box.

Same with the wall mounts, although thre were loads of cheap wall mount options i decided to go with a Vogels mount, they’re very good quality and reallly easy to install. Afterall, the last thing you want is to come home to find your tv on the floor in 387 pieces!

You do have a point Saj… You only get what you pay for so to speak
