Le Mans 2011 09th - 12th June

Hi all
Once again We will be making the trip over to France to see the Le Mans 24hr race.

This year we will drive through the morning / afternoon of Thursday via the more scenic A roads arriving at the camp site around 6pm.

We will be camping at Beausejour and catching the 22:20 / 22:42 train back to the UK from Calais On Sunday 12th June.

Again as per last year I have posted the links to both the eurotunnel booking site ( I’m looking at either the 10:42am or 10:50am train leaving Folkstone on Thursday, 9th June ) and Le Mans site for tickets and camping.

Entrance Ticket Price - €67 per person.

On-Site Camping and car parking permit at Beausejour - €51.

Euro Tunnel ticket £87.00 ( round trip per car ).

I’ll be there again… with at least four others…

I say this every year…I recommend that anyone that calls themselves a Petrolhead does this trip at least once.

Road trip, camping, food, beers & a fantastic race…

You must all be really excited about this meet right now, I’d love to join you all but having just got back from the south of France with Allenps and Chooch, I think twice in as many months is a little more than my wallet can handle!!

I hope you all have a fantastic time and I’m looking forward to seeing all the photo’s :slight_smile:

Cars nearly back together again another nights work on it then i’m done
Only problem, hope i can get it down my unmade road, it looking doggy at to moment might need scaffold boards over the pot holes :lol:
