Lost Avatar

Hope this is in correct section-help needed please guys/girls

I only use PC at work so after i first joined the club, a mate gave me some free webspace on his home PC for me to display my signature and Avatar pics. Now that he has lost this webspace i have to do my own so i have opened account with photobucket, problem is how do i get rid of the URL for the old website?

At the top of my profile page it keeps coming up with “Your signature is not valid-connection could not be made to the URL given”. I ■■■■■■ well know that connection cannot be made, the webspace does’nt exist anymore    how do i delete it?

I’ve tried reset, tried entering new URL details at the bottom of the page and submitting, no joy, keeps telling me the old URL is not valid

AAAAAAARGH- help please someone-need to get some pics of my motor back on my messages :? :? :?

Just type the new URL in the space provided for it in the PROFILE section of this site.

The profile link is at the top of the page.

Tried that Triple A, keeps giving me the connection could not be made message but this relates to the old website signature.

I have tried every combination on my profile page–reset–delete image–submit new URL reference but the old URL link is still quoted at the top of the page as “not valid” :? :? :?

I just deleted your avatar and an image in your signature.

See if that helps

Mark

Cheers Mark–i’ll give it a try

Many thanks

It helps to log in though

Brendan

Thanks Mark, you getting rid of the old site worked.

Now have the following problem:
Selected my chosen Avatar picture from photobucket album, prior to copy/paste to my profile page on club site, i edited it to downsize it to avatar size, copied and pasted and submitted on profile page, then when going back in to profile page to check it was there-it is there but full screen size :? :? :? :? :?
What am i doing wrong please—this PC at work is fast approaching me giving iy a drop kick out of the window

Whilst looking at this post, hold down the ctrl key and then press the F5 key. This will force a cache refresh on your browser, and you avatar photo will be the right size. I can see it as a nice small photo of your car .

Steve

Thanks Steve, i’ve still got my sense of humour (just)
I take it that was why you sent a blank page or am i missing something :? :? :? :?
