The LS1/6 series of MAF conversions removes the restriction the standard Mitsubishi MAF has, when you tune your GTO/3000GT to more than 425-450BHP.

The Translator allows you to use the New GM MAF supplied in the kit on any GTO / 3000 GT Twin Turbo. This will greatly improve airflow and turbo spool up, even if you are currently using standard turbos. It can also be used as a blow through unit so that the blow off valve can be vented into the atmosphere with no bad effects. If all this was not enough it also has controls to adjust the air fuel ratio and will compensate for larger fuel injectors eliminating the need for other more expensive controllers like the S-AFC.
It can control up to 1050cc injectors and will also enable you to dial in any sized injectors in 10cc increments to get the fine adjustment that enables to get those last few horses out of your engine.
The beauty of this kit is when it is set up, you will not need to re-tune it every time you up the boost or have climatic differences such the temperature differences between summer and winter than you need to do on systems such as the ARC-2.
We have included in our kit the 2 x 6’ wiring loom extensions to enable you to mount the MAFT in the interior of your car to enable set-up with out the need to keep stopping and lifting the bonnet to adjust settings during initial set-up.

The kit costs just £300 +£10 P&P which is excellent value when you think that a S-AFC is around £230-250 and you still have to find a way of resolving the 450BHP air flow measurement limit our cars suffer from.
