Thank you to all those who made an effort to turn up today.
Sorry if you turned up and found the place locked up and closed, but as only two people had turned up by 10.40am, the guys who run it called it a day.
They kindly gave up their day off for us and as no one turned up early enough to make it worth while them staying open they shut up shop and i dont blame them to be honest.
However the one car that did get dynoed was UK Specs mildly modifed 3000GT that made 398BHP with 13G turbos, a MAFT Pro and 550cc injectors.
The car had loads left to give, but Peter wished to have a reliable car rather than a car that was at its limit all the time.
This shuld give those of you who have a 3000GT some idea of what can be achived from your car with the standard turbo’s fitted…

i turned up just after that … wasnt going to running anyway which is why i only fell out of bed, but i thought more of you guys with a few more horses would of been there … ?? … and i was so looking forward to seeing how the MAFT is set up

I saw a nice red gto heading north up the a12 on the way back, i think you saw me going south :lol: … i wonder who it was :?: any takers ??
Oh well… i spent the rest of the day giving the car a bit of TLC so it wasnt all bad for me

Rob - Shame nobody turned up after all the effort to set it up, I was away in france so could not make but need to get there to get the car mapped now the ITC has been fitted. I’ll liase with you and them to get a suitable name - may aim for last tuesday of the month as I will be driving all the way round there may as well go to the meet

It was a real shame as it was going to be a tune and test day, which Engine Advantages offered to do for us GTO/3000GT owners and they have not offered this to any other make of car and never will.
This was an offer that Paul at Engine Advantages offered to do for me as the Evil Empire has an excellent relationship with them
Everybody will now have to book a proper tune session from a Monday to Saturday now and pay the full price now.

I know ive said it before but its a shame as i would really liked to of seen what Robs WAFT…sorry … MAFT was capable of doing and showing its flexiness in having it set up to how you want it … … oh well… im sure theres a car out there somewhere that i will see sometime … …
