Mk1 TT rebuild

Hello all I am hoping to start my rebuild on my mk1 import TT , she’s been off the road for 8 years and is in need of a full rebuild.I have a mark 2 engine to go in and am after any advise for wiring modifications I need to do and am hoping to upgrade a few parts also​:smiling_face:.

Any advice is very welcome.

A Mk2 engine into a Mk1 is the easiest way around, you keep your wiring as is and you simply need to fit the Mk1 CAS to the rear head on the Mk2 engine and you can choose to remove the CAM/CAS sensors from the cambelt side of the Mk2 engine.

You may need to swap around the power steering pump and/or ps tensioner pulley and crank pulley depending on if you have the multirib or V belt setup.
