Firstly this car has an engine issue and has piston slap , it was recently Dynoed at Eurospec and made 380HP on its current spec .
The car has been tweeked and is running ok but is an unknown quantity as to how long it will run , it is not using too much oil , it is known for forged pistons cars to use slightly more oil than stock .
For this reason i am pricing the car accordingly , it may seem expensive but it has a good spec and is worth more in bits if i decide to break it , if the engine was sound then this would be a 7k car all day long , this is not a cheap ebay special , prior to the problem i had a printout of 468hp.
I have receipts in a folder including the purchase of this car for well over £25k
The car has had most of the work since i have had it carried out by sumiyaka including a full engine build . it is quite possible that a new set of pistons and a rebore will solve the problem , i decided that id rather have a fresh bottom end . The current crank was reground and nitrided so its near stock tolerance .
The ECu was also rebuilt by the ECU Doctor a couple of years after having the car
This is also one of the oldest if not oldest GTO’s in the country, there will certainly only ever be 20 before it this was the 21st off the production line

There is more spec to add but that is the main .
There are minor defects within the paintwork if im being fussy and the rear bumper is showing some filler crazing , the wheels could do with a refurb too but they still look tidy . The second gear synchro is also shot , has been for ten years but i have a replacement box
As i say this car isnt without issues , i would be looking for £4250 which sounds a lot but i have done a parts break down and know i could get more in parts .
I also have a replacement 4 bolt main bottom end a new set of wesico pistons and a set of crower rods along with the MKII sump required , i would let this go with the car for the total of £5k
The rods and pistons alone come to £1200
